I've always been a fan of the TMNT so when I got the chance to read the comics on Mirage's site I loved them. The TMNT comics are A LOT darker than the 1987 cartoon which changed a lot, even changing the personalities and origins of some characters. The first movie came closer to the darker side of the turtles, which was something. The 2003 cartoon follows the comics almost exactly, only some content lightened up. So whether it's the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, TMNT, or Tales of the TMNT, I'll always be an equal fan of them all.

Leonardo has always been my favorite character from the TMNT series, but after reading the comics I find that the comic version of Leonardo rules over all other versions.
